My name is Janna Marano and I am a Filipino-Canadian portrait, fashion, and beauty photographer and creative director currently based in Toronto. In 2020, I was studying Cinema and Creative Writing at the University of Toronto.  With the global pandemic forcing curriculums to switch to online delivery, I paused my studies and purchased my first DSLR camera. Through experimenting with friends, four of my beauty editorials were published in small magazines that year. I moved to Berlin in September 2020 to pursue other collaborators and to further explore this new medium of storytelling.
 
I am constantly inspired by both Filipino and Canadian cultures, film, music, fashion, and my travels. I am fueled by the alchemical process of turning human experiences and raw beauty into art. I can't wait to hear your unique story!
